An oversight exists within the medical treatments for epilepsy. Epilepsy is a serious life-threatening condition and the main current treatment method, medication, lacks effectiveness and safety, leaving epileptics in discomfort and at a loss of control of their lives

PULSE gives independence back to people with epilepsy. This innovative treatment method is medication-free and only requires a minimally invasive procedure to implant. The comfort of seizure control and autonomy is achieved through this device no bigger than your house key.

PULSE

ANTI-SEIZURE IMPLANT

With the comfort and care of the patient at top priority, The PULSE Anti-Seizure Implant prevents, regulates, and disrupts seizures with electrode stimulation through the nervous system. Placed on both sides of the neck, the implant pair is inserted right under the skin above the carotid artery and vagus nerve. Seizure activity can be detected by increased heart rate through the artery. The activity can be prevented or disrupted by stimulation pulses that travel through the nerve to the brain.
